Hello fellow English teachers! I hope that every repeat visitor to this site will contribute something from his/her teaching experience. If you take something ... you should always give something back!

RE: Will this appear with a new title?

It appears as a new title. Is this a forced reply? I couldn't get the subject line to automatically add the "RE:" text on its own. Why not?

Re: RE: Will this appear with a new title?

Dunno, Deb. Normally the program "Re"s the last post automatically, as it did here. I have no way of configuring this: it happens on the Ezboard server.
Let me know if there's something you're trying to do but can't. |

subject line for a reply is blank
|
Whenever I try to reply to a comment (either clicking on "reply" under a person's ID or clicking "Add reply" at the bottom of the screen), the subject line is blank (no "RE:" followed by the original subject line). I shouldn't have to type in a Subject on a reply entry.
Hmmm...am I doing something wrong? |

Weird. It's not blank on mine...... I'll see what I can find out.

Found it, Deb.
Go back a page. Click on the "My Control Center" link. Click the "edit preferences" button. Put a tick in the "Auto Fill Subject" box. Click the "Save changes" button. Let's know if that works. It's possible you may have to register to get at the Control Center: I'll check that. |
