I am currently seeking work as an English teacher in Germany, preferably Berlin. I am aware that most schools seem to employ teachers on a freelance basis. However, I think I may be offered a job by an international school that would employ me directly.
My question is quite simple: if I get the opportunity to be employed directly, is this better than working freelance? From looking at previous threads, it would seem that freelance work is a little more insecure but are there other upsides to freelancing eg: is the salary better? Speaking of which, there seems to be a lot of info on what freelancers might earn but I can't find much info on what a teacher being employed directly might expect to earn per 45 mins -any suggestions?
Any advice/opinions would be greatly appreciated. :-)
