Who has been to any of these events and are they worth it?

I went to the BESIG (www.besig.org) event in Nov. It was awesome. With Ian McMaster on board to help run the show and opened by the linguist Mike McCarthy
(Vocabulary in use books) what a set up for a possibly excellent event.
I attended 9 worshops over the space of two days, and 6 were worth it. Notably Pete Sharma (in company e-lessons and www.te4be.com), Timothy Phillips (skylight GmbH) and Sheila Vine (English squared). If you want a more in depth review check out the LELTA January 2009 newsletter. The price is reasonable in regards to the workshops, opportunity to see new materials on the market, as well as the networking. |
